WOONSOCKET, RHODE ISLAND (March 08, 2016) – The 2016 CVS Health Charity Classic will feature more than the nation’s top golfers. This year the charitable tournament is bringing seven-time GRAMMY award-winning group Lady Antebellum to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, in the heart of Providence, for a public concert to help extend the tournament’s fundraising efforts.

The newly created CVS Health Charity Classic Benefit Concert will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center and will be open to the public. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m., with a portion of ticket sale proceeds going to support the mission of the Charity Classic to raise funds for non-profits across New England. Concert ticket prices range from $37.50-$67.50 (does not include service and facility fees) and are available at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center Box Office,, all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

“The CVS Health Charity Classic has always been about bringing great golf and great charities together and this concert provides an opportunity for people in the community to see both a great show and give back to great local charities,” said Eileen Howard Boone, Tournament Chairwoman, CVS Health Charity Classic. “Adding this exciting new element to the event enables us to raise even more money to support some important organizations helping children and families across New England.”

The 2016 CVS Health Charity Classic will bring 20 of the best PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour and PGA TOUR Champions professionals to Rhode Island Country Club for the June 26-28 tournament. The Lady Antebellum charity concert is the newest addition to the tournament’s focus on adding fun and engaging activities, beyond golf, to the four-day event designed to raise much-needed funds for charities throughout the region.  Tickets to the tournament also go on sale through Ticketmaster on Friday, March 18. Good-Any-Day tickets are $25.
