WOONSOCKET, RHODE ISLAND (June 7, 2016) – CVS Health Charity Classic co-hosts Billy Andrade and Brad Faxon today unveiled the final four professionals participating in the June 26-28 charity golf tournament, which donates millions of dollars to area charities. Rounding out the impressive field are PGA TOUR pros Bill Haas, Chris Kirk and Steve Stricker, and LPGA veteran Paula Creamer.

Sunday, June 26th is Community Day featuring free grounds admission. A perfect place to spend the day with family and friends, Community Day features a variety of fun, interactive “outside the ropes” activities for fans of all ages including visits from area mascots (Boston Red Sox, Providence Bruins, University of Rhode Island), free giveaways, health and wellness stations, food trucks and more. A special kids “fun zone” features activities throughout the day such as face painting, arts and crafts, fitness fun and bubble activities. The Providence Children’s Museum’s popular Rigamajig will also be on hand for kids to invent creative contraptions using this large-scale building kit.
Haas, now ranked 37th in the world, returns to Rhode Island Country Club for the 8th time. He is a six-time PGA TOUR champion, former FedExCup champion and took home the 2004 CVS Health Charity Classic trophy alongside his father Jay. A consistent top performer on TOUR, Haas currently sits in 34th place in the FedExCup race.
Kirk, a four-time PGA TOUR victor, is making his first appearance at the charitable tournament held at Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington. Kirk is currently ranked 59th in the World and 63rd in FedExCup standings. Stricker, who won back-to-back CVS Health Charity Classic titles (2014 and 2015), is returning to the popular event for his 4th appearance. A fan favorite and TOUR veteran Stricker has posted an impressive 12 PGA TOUR wins.
Also returning to the Charity Classic field this year is LPGA star Creamer who is currently ranked 50th in the world. A top LPGA performer, Creamer has earned 10 career victories, including the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open, and has played on the U.S. Solheim Cup team five times.
PGA TOUR veteran Peter Jacobsen, who has appeared in every CVS Health Charity Classic since its inception in 1999, today announced his withdrawal from the tournament as he rehabs from a partially torn Achilles tendon. Replacing Jacobsen is Jamie Sadlowski, who recently won a local U.S. Open qualifier at The Country Club at DC Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sadlowski, a two-time RE/MAX World Long Drive champion, has participated in the Charity Classic opening ceremony for the past several years to rave reviews from fans.
